About Me
First off, I want to thank you for taking the time to drop by. My name is Bill, and I’m a retired over-the-road trucker.
After 17 years as a photojournalist with the U.S. Army, I decided I wanted a job where I could basically be my own boss without someone constantly looking over my shoulder. I’m also the type that despises having a repetitious job of doing the same thing day after day. I got all that and a lot more as a trucker so after 5 years of driving through virtually all of the lower-48 states, I decided to basically “retire” from that profession and find something closer to home that would provide me with the same freedom and independence that trucking had.
This particular blog of mine is just a fun little project that I threw together in order to share some of the odd-ball stuff I come across on the Internet. It’s a reflection of my somewhat warped (deviant?) sense of humor.
P.S. That’s me gabbing on a wireless headset as I pilot an 18-wheeler somewhere in the Nevada desert (circa 2008). Yeah, I’ve got tons of B.S. trucker stories to tell ya sometime over a beer…
